A rodent-man hybrid....
The gag for the drawing above is not the noxious fumes evacuating from her backside, but rather her mispronunciation of the word 'chipotle'. Talk about LOL.

Muriel and Walter much after the sitting in a tree
Such is the daily angst of Muriel. She would just love it if once in a while Walter would watch 'Cold Case Files' with her, or godforbid buy her some flowers. But alas a couple years after marriage Walter discovered Tom Wilson's trouserless opus, never to be the same since. On Walter's 40th, Muriel gifted an original Jim Davis sketch she found on eBay. She slept on the couch that eve. They never had kids. Not because of their marital situation but because of incompatible DNA.

Purple Space Traveler and his woes.
He is frowning because he traveled half way across the galaxy before he realized he forgot the holster for his gun on his nightstand. Now he has to carry it everywhere, posturing as native camera-men stop to take his photograph. He is thinking of a way to blame his wife no doubt.
He can even let his arm relax; the gun is such a size that it would drag on the ground, inevetably scraping up the finish.
The GOOD news: the gun is equipped with an MP3 player so he can enjoy some music as he roams about foreign landscape.
The BAD news: the only files on there are PAT BENETAR'S greatest hits.

more junk
Problems with being anthropomorphic: broken tail bones are very common. Often anthropomorphs dock their own tails in an effort to further their acceptance in a humanoid world.
Below: a rodent driving an automobile! So crazy!
Actually I think he is just sitting in it, not having the mental capacity to actually drive a vehicle is a usual trait in rodents. You can tell he is not driving because there are no little exhaust clouds coming out the back end of the car.
The Lil' Dingo: A television show for preschoolers about eating babies. To be rendered in godawful CG.Of course a rollerskating monkey for all to enjoy. This particular chap is named Hector. He is also good at peeling mangoes, and throwing feces farther than most monkeys his age.
Also of no interest, I have unearthed a bunch of comics I did when in the angst-ridden years of high school. They are craptacular! You will have to be rather bored to do so, but click 'em to big 'em.

the Unaired Show
The whole concept behind this show is that it will never get made. A tricky concept I know, but I think it could work. There is of course a cast of crazy characters in the show; a transvestite Whoopi Goldberg impersonator, a rodent with an unbridled enthusiasm for Ziggy, a baby duck with Asbergers, a rabbit who gets plastic surgery constantly so he can look like Roger Rabbit (he is blissfully unaware of the copyright problems therein), some bald British guy...you get the idea.
Of course there will be a ginger haired guy with a tweed jacket. He has mother issues.
Hank is the product of an alligator/rhinoceros romance gone awry. He is very inquisitive, and is often warned: "Curiosity killed the alligator/rhinoceros hybrid!"
Mundane and Charlie are the housecats. One is skinny, the other is fat. It hasn't been done, so it's worth a try.
Last but not least, the Weevilbird. He feeds of of raw sewage and jellybeans. More often than not, he can be found hiding in the hedges playing canasta with the neighborhood hedgehogs. Ideally he would be voiced by Morgan Freeman, or if he's not available, Selena Gomez.

Things I got to see at the Emerald City Comicon
I spent Saturday at the Emerald City Comicon... Less pungent than the big ol' San Diego melee, yet still a visual cacophony of the sublime and bizarre. From Jewish He-Man to Stormtrooper Beaker the sights are frequent and staining on the eye. A plethora of ladies in spandex was appreciated by all. Guys in Boba Fett masks unaware at how very droll they have become. The genre of fans known only as the Bronies were out with eczema but without abandon- inspiring a new, trademarkable phrase:
My biggest disappointment was, and I'm certain I'm not alone, the glaring absence of Ziggy merchandise available.
This guy (below) did go against type by wearing a Mighty Mouse T-Shirt when in his heart he wanted to wear an Clover Bloom (thanks, Wikipedia) blazer. A Brony being contemplative can be a disconcerting thing.
Of course the classic 'guy in a sweltering suit made of faux-fur of some sort' was well represented.
Admittedly this Ramphy character (below) had a cool mouth function that allowed it to open and close, thus giving the full impression of chewing one's cud.
Had I more funds available to me, surely I would have partaken in the joys of bootlegged merchandise. Mind you, where the heck else are you going to buy 'Song of the South'? or the rare TV pilot of 'Vision and the Scarlet Witch' starring Sonny and Cher?My biggest disappointment was, and I'm certain I'm not alone, the glaring absence of Ziggy merchandise available.

the curmudgeonly librarian of Pollyanna Ave.
Miss Fingletoste does not like children being loud near her books.
'Dewey Decimal I'm Yours' is tattooed on her inner thigh.
She was married once, at a young age to a travelling circus manager.
He refused to poach her eggs so she left him.
She took solace in reading for many years, until one day she fell

She took solace in reading for many years, until one day she fell
down a fire escape and cracked her skull open.
A weevil crawled into the opening.
Now, she only reads part of the time.
Also, she collects old milk bottles.
