more junk

Problems with being anthropomorphic: broken tail bones are very common. Often anthropomorphs dock their own tails in an effort to further their acceptance in a humanoid world.
Below: a rodent driving an automobile! So crazy!
Actually I think he is just sitting in it, not having the mental capacity to actually drive a vehicle is a usual trait in rodents. You can tell he is not driving because there are no little exhaust clouds coming out the back end of the car.
The Lil' Dingo: A television show for preschoolers about eating babies. To be rendered in godawful CG.
Of course a rollerskating monkey for all to enjoy. This particular chap is named Hector. He is also good at peeling mangoes, and throwing feces farther than most monkeys his age.

Also of no interest, I have unearthed a bunch of comics I did when in the angst-ridden years of high school. They are craptacular! You will have to be rather bored to do so, but click 'em to big 'em.

Much ado...

I am reposting here, what was originally over at http://www.muchthecomic.com/...my guest contribution to the " Much the Miller's Son" web-comic by Steve LeCoulliard . Much is the story of Robin Hood's least merry Merrie Man and not the story of the illegitimate son of Big Jim Miller, as many people clearly conclude from the title.Be sure to read the archived MUCH...a lot of cool stuff in there! Heck, you can even BUY a book! Not before you BUY a shirt or something by me, of course. Speaking of which, somebody actually did! Thank You to whoever you are! Who are you? Tell me!!

It's that time...

Time for the annual CROCFIELD comic strip!
(this one being the first; the next one will probably be late)
In today's installment, it seems ol' John just can't decide what to feed his reptilian overlord!

Oh, Crocfield!!

A Couple Chicks COMIC PAGE

Here is page one of the yet unfinished "Couple Chicks" comic...with INKS by the talented Christine Li, whom I work with at aka cartoon. We also collaborated on a couple of Ed, Edd n' Eddy stories for DC's Cartoon Network Block Party. Sadly at this time there isn't another in the pipeline. I have yet to add the dialogue; I have yet to write the dialogue...though in the thumbnail version there are some preliminary thoughts as to what it might be.

I don't know if I like the thumbnail version better or not, but here it is for comparison's sake. I do prefer the staging in panel 3 of the thumbnails now that I look at it. Gosh darn it, if that ain't a bag of buttertarts in a coal miner's pantaloons if I ever did encounter one.

Fat Fred

Unearthed from the confines of a cardboard box, a treasure was found. Not a treasure pertaining to the definition that a treasure is good, but a treasure of the nontheless variety. I am guessing I was in grade 4 or 5 or somewhere there when creativity struck in the form of FAT FRED. The premise was simple: there was this fat fellow named Fred. And he was to have his own comic. At least he was fat on the cover. As the "story" unfolds, Fred seems to lose weight. I reckon no one will be able to read these pages unless they are individually clicked on to enlarge, but they are being posted anyways so that the bigwigs at all the huge comic book companies can see them and clamber to get the rights to FAT FRED. Look for FAT FRED UNLIMITED at your local comic shop, wherein FRED will be sporting a wicked pony-tail and riding a Razor Scooter! (whilst listening to his iPOD NANO of course)

Here on page 1, note the ominous arm in panel 2. I remember how exciting that was to draw. I thought I was creating ominous suspense at the time...notice how a really creepy monster arm does not phase ol Fred, but a robber in a mask freaks him out!! HAHAHAHAAHAA

fight clouds are always fun...

Anyways...

I do remember that FRED was never drawn anywhere else but this comic. I also recall that the gentleman that Fred runs into in the shack (on page 9) was a character that my cousin created to star in his own comic. Bit of a crossover there! As with most comics done by prepubescents, Fat Fred is simply some sort of stream of consciousness thing. I can't make much sense of it now...but 'twas an interesting find. For me anyways. Well, I wanted to post something!!
