There was the idea that ol' General Shanker would give new recruit Gary a tour of the facilities, area 51. They would end up at the Starbucks contained within and drink a few cappuccinos over mundane conversation. Then maybe get pick up one of those cards that provide a code so as one can download a free song on iTunes, something crappy seemingly being the criteria. It would have been some quality footage, that much is certain.
The thought that Shanker only spoke in descriptions of television programs garnered from his vast collection of TV Guides was an idea that never came to fruition. It was decided he would be more of a 'TV Week' kind of guy, as they had the Jumble in the back.
