I don't know what the heck is up with this guy. In some religions, being a priest is by human election or human choice. In the case of anthropomorphic canines, it is not entirely clear what the requirements are, other than that of being armless.

*An interesting side note, brought up in my visit to Wikipedia on the topic of armless canines depicted in religious garb: Stewart Elliott Guthrie theorizes in his book Faces in the Clouds: A New Theory of Religion, that all religions are anthropomorphisms that originate due to the brain's tendency to detect the presence of other humans in natural phenomena. Were that tendency not the case, perhaps we would never have Bugs Bunny, or Porky Pig. Interesting.

**I have not read "Faces in the Clouds" and probably never will. I have read Spider-Man comics many times however.
